Proceedings Submission Guidelines – SPJMS Thematic Collection
We are pleased to announce that the São Paulo Journal of Mathematical Sciences (SPJMS) has approved the publication of the Proceedings of the II Group Theory, Braid Theory and Related Aspects (II GTBT 2025) as a thematic collection of the journal. The thematic collection is entitled:
“Recent Developments in Group Theory and Braid Theory”
Submissions of original research papers are open to both participants and non-participants whose work relates to the main themes of the meeting, including recent advances in Group Theory and Braid Theory, combinatorial and geometric group theory, Artin and braid groups, mapping class groups, and related applications to topology and geometry.
Submission process
All manuscripts must be submitted through Springer’s Editorial Manager (EM) system at:

During the submission process, authors will be asked whether the manuscript belongs to a special issue or thematic collection. Please follow these steps:

Start a new submission on the SPJMS journal page.

When asked “Does this manuscript belong to a special issue?”, select “Yes”.

In the drop-down menu, choose the thematic collection:
“Recent Developments in Group Theory and Braid Theory” -
Select a handling editor from the list provided by the system.

Complete all required steps and upload the manuscript and supporting files.
Accepted papers will appear online as part of the thematic collection at:
https://link.springer.com/journal/40863/collections
